Calvin Ritter began his insurance career in 1972 as a personal producing agent. As his business grew, he formed a General Agency called CJ Ritter and Associates.

In 1990, Cal semi-retired from the insurance business after he was diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy and, eventually, had a successful Heart Transplant.

A few years later, he came out of "retirement" to join with the principals of URL Financial in forming a Senior Marketing Insurance Brokerage called URL Senior Care Division. In 1997, Cal was joined by his son, Craig Ritter.

From 1997 to 2005, the agency grew from one part time employee to 5 full time employees. In 2005, Cal bought the interest of URL Financial and renamed the company Ritter Insurance Marketing.

In the past few years, Ritter Insurance has tripled our staff and grown our network to over 10,000 agents. This is a result of our hard working employees, the support of our agents and a little luck!
